In the fall I get to do one of my favorite projects: turning Bonney Lake Cross Country seniors into larger-than-life banners. Yes, there’s lighting, masking, and color profiles—but really it’s about people. My job is to bottle a little of that and hang it where the whole community can see.
For this year’s set, I built a simple, repeatable look so each senior feels unique without losing the team vibe. The cool teal/black palette is our home base. The metal panther seal sits at the center like a medal—earned through early buses and hard workouts. Up top is the relaxed portrait (the kid their parents recognize). Down below is the action shot (the competitor we cheer for). A ghosted “26” and the SENIOR rails give the banners that “this is your year” heartbeat.
I’m picky about details because they’re what make the images feel honest. The runners get a soft rim of teal light so they belong in the same world as the badge and atmosphere. Shoes get a little shadow so they touch the ground. A hint of grain keeps photos and CG living together nicely. None of this should scream for attention—if I’ve done it right, you just feel that the design works.
The best part is delivery day. Seeing the teams faces and seeing them take photos with friends and family.
These banners aren’t just graphics. They’re thank-you notes to seniors who gave their time, lungs, and hearts to Bonney Lake. I’m lucky I get to make them.
Teeing Off with Style: Creating Bonney Lake Senior Banners for Golf’s Class of 2025
As a designer and photographer, there’s something uniquely rewarding about creating Senior Night Banners for student athletes. Each one is more than just a design project—it’s a chance to visually honor years of discipline, growth, and achievement. That was especially true when we crafted the Bonney Lake senior banners for the 2025 golf team.
These athletes don’t always get the spotlight that louder sports do—but their commitment, precision, and quiet intensity deserve every bit of recognition. Our goal was to design banners that reflect the elegance of golf while still capturing the strong identity of Bonney Lake Panthers.
Photography with Precision and Personality
Working with this group of seniors—Cameron Frey, Hudson Rogel, and Kohen Sauer—meant creating imagery that blended athleticism with personality. We posed each athlete in two key ways: a confident portrait and a mid-swing action shot. This dual representation told their story clearly: focused, competitive, and proud to represent Bonney Lake on the green.
Lighting was essential—we used controlled highlights to bring out the textures in their golf attire and to mirror the natural glow of a sunrise over the fairway. Backgrounds were digitally enhanced to reflect the serene, expansive beauty of a championship-level course while keeping the Panther branding front and center.
Designing for Sophistication and School Spirit
Golf is a sport rooted in tradition and composure, and we wanted that feel to come through in the design. Here’s how we approached these Bonney Lake senior banners:
Circular Framing: We used a clean, round crop to echo the shape of a golf ball or tee, giving each design a refined structure and symmetry.
Vivid Backdrops: Rolling greens and early-morning skies set a tone of calm confidence—fitting for these athletes’ mindset.
Bold Typography: Large, varsity-style names and jersey numbers deliver that unmistakable “Senior Night” energy.
Team Identity: The Bonney Lake Panthers logo and “25 SENIOR” mark were integrated to celebrate both the individual and their place within the legacy of the program.
These banners weren’t just made to hang on fences—they were made to last as keepsakes, yearbook covers, and mementos for families who’ve supported these athletes every step of the way.
Why Senior Night Banners Matter
Senior Night Banners aren’t just decorative. They’re a tribute—one final cheer for student-athletes who’ve poured years of effort into representing their school. These Bonney Lake senior banners for the golf team serve as personal spotlights, team symbols, and visual proof that hard work doesn’t go unnoticed.
For families, they’re priceless. For athletes, they’re empowering. And as a designer and photographer, it’s an honor to be the one who helps bring that recognition to life.

Designing with Grit: Behind the Scenes of Bonney Lake Senior Banners for Lacrosse
As a designer and photographer, there’s a certain kind of rush that comes from creating Senior Night Banners—especially when the athletes you’re honoring bring as much heart and hustle as the Bonney Lake lacrosse seniors did this year. These Bonney Lake senior banners were built to be bold, fierce, and unforgettable—just like the players they represent.
When the 2025 lacrosse seniors stepped in front of the camera, it wasn’t just about getting a good shot. It was about freezing a moment that captured who they are: warriors on the field, leaders in their school, and proud Panthers to the core.
Photography That Packs a Punch
From the start, I wanted these banners to feel alive. We lit each shot to enhance the texture of their gear and intensity in their eyes. Each player was photographed in dual perspectives—an in-uniform portrait and a full-on action stance. The contrast between calm confidence and game-time energy is what gives these banners depth.
Whether it was Caysen Day’s fire, Logan Proctor’s focus, CJ Ebbert’s grit, or Gavin Ruggenberg’s drive—every photo told a story. That’s what makes great Senior Night Banners. They don’t just show you what a player looks like—they remind you what they stand for.
Designing for Drama and Detail
Once the photos were in, it was time to turn them into something epic. These Bonney Lake senior banners weren’t going to be ordinary—they needed to stand out on the sidelines and in the hearts of everyone who sees them. Here’s what went into the design:
Panther Power: Each banner roars with the iconic Bonney Lake panther, wrapped in glowing teal fire and smoke—a symbol of strength.
Player Identity: Jersey numbers, stylized names, and personal flair were front and center, because these aren’t just athletes—they’re individuals who’ve earned their spotlight.
Textures & Motion: Layered backgrounds, sharp grid lines, and embossed effects give each banner a sense of movement and muscle.
Consistency Across the Team: While each athlete is featured uniquely, the cohesive design ties them together as a squad. That’s the essence of team pride.
Why These Senior Night Banners Matter
In a few short months, these seniors will walk across a stage and into a new chapter. But their Senior Night Banners will stay with them for years to come. They’re more than just prints. They’re a tribute to years of blood, sweat, and brotherhood.
Bonney Lake is a community that rallies behind its athletes, and creating banners like these is my way of giving back. They honor tradition, spark school spirit, and create lasting memories for athletes and families alike.

Designing Bonney Lake Senior Banners for the Class of 2025
As both the designer and photographer behind these Bonney Lake senior track banners, I can confidently say that this year’s set for the Class of 2025 has been one of my favorite projects yet. Each banner tells a unique story of celebrating the individual athlete while unifying them under the spirit of all of Bonney Lake High School’s 27 track and field team’s seniors.
These custom Senior Night banners were created with one clear goal in mind: to give each senior a moment of recognition that feels larger than life. From the initial photoshoot to the final design, every step was carefully planned to showcase the strength, personality, and pride of these student-athletes.
Photography That Brings Personality to Life
The photoshoot was all about capturing confidence and authenticity. I worked with each athlete to bring out their natural energy. Whether they were throwing a javelin, sprinting, or simply smiling with arms crossed, I aimed to freeze that perfect moment that represents their high school journey.
Professional Studio Lighting was key—strong, directional lighting helped carve out definition in their poses and brought out the striking teal and black of the Bonney Lake uniforms. Each student had their own moment in front of the camera, and it was a privilege to help them shine.
Design That Elevates the Athlete
Once the images were captured, it was time to bring them to life through design. These Bonney Lake senior banners are a combination of high-impact graphics and clean composition. Each banner features:
Dual imagery: A dominant portrait paired with an action shot to show both personality and performance.
Dynamic backgrounds: With track lane textures, paint-stroke accents, and a motion-inspired aesthetic, the design reflects the fast-paced world of track and field.
Custom panther graphics: Our stylized, action-ready panther mascot adds a powerful and unified symbol of school pride.
Custom Seal: created a Bonney Lake Panther Track & Field seal.
The goal? To make these banners not just decorations, but lasting tributes.
Why Bonney Lake Senior Banners Matter
These banners aren’t just for show. They’re emotional markers of a student’s journey—visual proof of years of training, growth, and community. On Senior Night, these banners line the stadium, creating a celebratory atmosphere that families and athletes will never forget. And long after graduation, they become cherished keepsakes.
For schools looking to elevate their Senior Night banners, personalization is everything. These banners weren’t pulled from a template—they were crafted with care, from photography to final design, to reflect what makes each athlete special.
Final Thoughts
As a designer and photographer, there’s no better feeling than watching students light up when they see their banner for the first time. It’s a moment of pride, not just for them, but for their families and the entire Bonney Lake community. If you’re planning your next Senior Night or want to honor your graduating athletes in a meaningful way, custom Bonney Lake senior banners are a powerful way to do it—with style, impact, and heart.

Tanner Pecheos in our spring print. It was great to get to present this to him on senior day in front of a packed stadium with a cheering crowd.
Shot this laying on the track with 135 1.8 Lens, 3 stop ND filter, 600 watt strobe at 1/2 power on camera left. Edited in ON1 Photo and Photoshop.
We printed a 16×24 inch on Kodak Lustre at a top notch lab that gets color right and delivers products that last. Matted and framed.
Tanner is a great kid, My wife and me enjoyed our chat with him while we photographed him for the print.
My wife got a few pictures on her phone of me crawling around on the ground trying to get the best angle.
My elbows got a little track burn but the resulting photos where very much worth it.
Hope Tanners senior year was a bit more special and him and his family enjoy this print for many years.
